Another year-
come and gone
Most days I feel the passing
of time
In my bones, in the recesses
of my mind.

Another year
wondering
What lies ahead of me
Good times or bad,
will I have the strength
to endure (again).

Another year
and all ready
I feel each passing
second of age
creeping up sure and
steady.

The truth is that each year I have to sit back and say "I'm only how old??" as I feel so much older! Tricky having an older spirit...

Huh, I'm 19 and my mom says I am old soul. So what does that mean then?!?!? Now that I sit back and think about it my birthday's not too far off (I think it's in 20 days!). Woooow...I'm not going to be a teenager any more. Hehe.
