Ok, let's try to wrap our noggins around a challenge and flex our pens and fly our creative banners in the breeze of color!
Here is a new challenge for all of us to try. And the subject is.......
COLOR:
Pick your favorite color or maybe a combination of colors and construct a poem or short prose incorporating the color(s). Aim for emotion, animation, personality. Let's take color and give it a boost. How can we bring something so common and oversighted as Blue, Red, Green, etc. and give it voice?
Two week goal sound good?
Due date: 2/7/08
Happy Writing.

So very deep and intricate curving around the world just so - described for the eyes of lovers who never realized the way they moved me so.
And of the ocean - a simple bliss rolling so free and intimate; I love this shade, for it's the hue of my soul, you know.
When the night drags creepily cowering shadows and nightmares at bay - yet still my favorite, as colors go. So deep and secretive when the moment's right.
If ever I need to escape this place I can slip into azure or cerulean or powder shades or midnight depths and simply fade away.
So infinite, it bounds me so wrapped tight within its silken robes pulling me and pushing me like the tides as they flow- building and spilling and creating just so.....
