I have wonderful news to tell you. Some of you may know and some of you may not but...
My band director and his wife are expecting their first child! And today it was just announced that it's going to be a girl. :) There is a lot of excitement stirred around the band community now, as well as many "awwww"s being spread. :) I will keep this updated at things move along.
By the way...the baby is *supposively* due April 25th. But of course the baby will come when she comes.

Wow...Let me be the first!! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone concerned!! :o) Girls are lovely...but then I'm biased having one of my own...the lovely Lucy!!!

Yes, they are very excited, as is everyone else! Time to fill the house with pink! Pink dresses, pink shoes...! Hehe. :)

I mentioned this information before in another post, but I figured I'd leave the information here too. The due date has been changed slightly and is now going to be anywhere from April 17th to April 27th. :) A name hasn't been picked out as of yet. According to my band director, there's a large list to choose from. :)

I think it's wonderful that your band director is so willing to share his personal life. Shows he'll be a great dad and is a wonderful husband!

Yeah, sometimes I remember I'm really a girl.. wait that doesn't sound right.. I mean I am a girl in MANY ways.... just not when it comes to pink, lace, frills and girly-girly stuff. Altho' I am a romantic! Go figure!

So, it's now May 2nd. And guess what...? There's STILL no baby! From what I've heard from my band director, if she's not born by May 6th, they'll have to induce labor. We'll see what happens.

Welcome to the world Cecilia Grace Jones! :) She was born May 4th at 1:15 am, weighing 8 lbs and measuring 20.5 inches long. I'll have an official picture post as well. :)
