This is a poem I wrote for one of my favorite composers, Eric Whitacre. I personally don't think it's the best but since Poe has requested it, I will post it along with a picture of him.
Conductor, conductor, take us on a trip On the Ghost Train through the canyons While we, all alone, dream of home and butterflies, and Paradise Lost
Or if you wish, conductor sir, Make us smile with your glorious ridiculousness Of Animal Crackers and Ogden Nash: The Panther, The Cow, and the Firefly
But it is the music of your trip: Deeply touching as October and your singing angels, insightfully accurate as Cloudburst That make us crave for more
Thank you for your Noisy Wheels of Joy And your Lux Aurumque And many more well never forget, and hopefully continue to remember

I think it's wonderful. And that's the best photo you have of him, in my opinion, altho the one of him where he's all choked up is pretty powerful too.
Perhaps one day I will have a photo of the great Conductor Kuti :)
Lovely write, my friend. Truly.

Haha. You would hear the flutes go "whooot, whoot." like a train whistle. That was so much fun when I played that in high school. :) Ooh, ooh! Or I could conduct Godzilla Eat Las Vegas (too everyone out there who's reading this, yes that is an actual title for an actual piece)!!! :D
p.s. - Aww, yeah. That one picture of him about to cry...poor thing... I know you like that one a lot. Feel free to use it. :)
