Hands

So I haven't been here a while, but I'm feeling neglected on my other board, so let me know what you think of this - good or bad! :)

Hands

Hands up, the professor said,
if you know the answer.
He never called on the back-row blonde
in case an inflection or stutter leaked.

Office doors creaked often, but fingers twisted
this one locked, appointments were over
except one, digits laced together tried hard
to muffle and encourage simultaneously.

Raising her hands, the answer was clear
he slid her 100% cotton ribbed tank
over her breasts, shoulders, then tossed it,
an abandoned wife, slumped across his desk,

leaving palms to slide against more skin
than Jung or Freud would allow, tracing curves
like carpals can, with only an ego
larger than those questioning hands.

Soon enough she was there, with shackles;
cooing Hands up she cuffed him and he answered
with adamance belied by a lecherous inflection,
never thinking theyd be caught red.

Well! I'm not any good at critique BUT.. this poem just about covered all the main senses for me, plus a few that I didn't know I had!!

Thank you for sharing..

I'm not a fan of contemporary poetry, but the second half of this seemed to really pick up a bit more story and purpose.

Thanks for posting.
