Leave it be, this winter night When frosted hush falls low What you thought were memories Rise up and take to flight.
Never expected, soldiers go Into the dark, sought victories Purple lifetime in the dusk Brothers in arms, life and fight.
But, find no mercy in subtleties Scent of man and war like musk Fodder for the devils fire Leave it be, this winter night.
Gods eyes open to see His plight Tortured persistent, lost the soul Forgotten now, those memories All of existence turns to rust Devils rise and never tire.
Very cool symbolism with your poem and picture! I very much enjoyed that. :) You flow was perfect and the images were spectacular! :) Kudos.
