The Unrobing..

The golden cloak of Lady Autumn
Whispers to the ground
Leaving sensuous outlines
Half forgotten
Through the summer months
And landscapes open up
Revealed once more
By the naked trees
As they stand proud
Displaying their unclothed beauty
For all the world to see

I believe it's quite extraordinary!
I can't find a tree replacement word, but I believe it's quite well placed, doesn't really need a fancy substitute.
but do what you want :) it's important for the author to be satisfied with the final results he reaches.
beautiful picture too
keep us amazed :D

I think trees fits just well... it's a simple little word that blends in leaving the gem phrases bright and vibrantly standing out... Love it.

Thank you!!!....for looking and commenting. :o)

Yes...after a sleepless night, much hair tearing and floor pacing...I have decided to leave "trees" where it is!

After all....it's what they are!

Thank you again!

Wow...that was so gorgeous! As Poe said, the words were very vibrant and very elegant. :) Loved it as always. :D
