There is so much debating
On the subject relating
To rhyming and prose.
How can ANYONE say
That rhyme has had its day
If the question arose.
Its great cause for discussion
Without repercussion
And treading on toes!
Its an interesting subject
But lets keep our respect
For our poetic fellows.
Now Ive come to the end
Of this rhyme that Ive penned
It was fun to compose!

Damn skippy, girl... Rhyme will always have a place in poetry!
Of course, you threw in your special light and airy touch at the end.. I like that.
Great write.......
