In the light of the rising sun
Morning blues mist the green
O'er and under, day arises
Blessing the night-goers' dream.

Fields of promise lay beyond
Touching futures, streaming by
While all who dare break the dawn
For a chance to see the angel fly;

It is here I wait, hand in hand
With the one and only love to be
Watching the world wake and move
As morning rises over me.
