Ok......the object of this Object Challenge is to write a short poem about an everyday...object!

I'll choose the first one and then the one who posts first can choose the next one.

The first object is....................Egg Timer

Sand:
I feel that time is slipping,
As I fall through the hourglass
a miniscule trickle, each grain
a part of my being -
And I slide through the space
of so much new and unexplored possibles
Oh, how I feel that time is slipping,
but hardly running out.

sorry, gonna look into egg timer models and choose one... sand's been kinda used so far... don't we get to do another topic, though? this has been covered twice :P very nicely though, don't get me wrong

lol great one, Lady Poe, made me smile at the end smile.gif but very nice piece altogether

I wrote this on my first post here, in this topic, before I understood that the topic is already set, and not free-choice, that's why I edited biggrin.gif but if you say I can start another object well here:
