The Homecoming

The Homecoming

I awaken to the sound of the sea
Beckoning over the dunes
The call is too strong
And I can't ignore it
An ageless calling that appeals
To the primitive being
That lives within me
Summoning me home

You know I just love this poem, mainly because it's something I can "feel".
Very well done.
Kudos.

Ah yes, the sweet (and salty) feel of the ocean breeze. Very calming, and very alluring as your poem has described. I feel like I'm back on the beach with my Marine Biology class I took this summer...haha... Wonderful, wonderful job. :)
