I thought a lot about you today. This simple act nearly killing me, for an incredible ache built to a trembling crescendo - Knocking the air from my lungs and leaving my legs weak, so that I had to sit - Curling my knees up against my throbbing chest. The sky so perfect and bright, yet I felt so shadowed in your absence. And I could not end the rolling thoughts, like thunder resounding over the empty meadow, hurting all the while. I prayed that soon, very soon, I'd find you there, just over the hill, and you would ease this ache away.

Good Morning, Johnny. Thank you for stopping in, it's been a while! I like this poem, it holds meaning for me, and the picture just kind of gave a clear visual to what was going on in my mind. Glad you liked. You need to post something new!
