*This morning I had the opportunity to sit at the beach for 45 mins and just think and take in the sight, sound and smells of the ocean.
It was delightful as usual. Something that really caught my eye and snagged the corners of my heart was an older couple, curled up in beach chairs, blankets with coffee in their hands, the husband was reading to his wife while she watched him and the waves. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed.*
He reads the words from the page forgetting the world, their age but her beauty still shines as it did that day When she smiled and stole his heart away.
She closes her eyes and listens to the waves; Her face shows enjoyment as the story sways This way and that and in her mind she can see The world unfolding like petals of the flower And the sun raises its head, shaking off night's shadowed hour.
And he continues to sit reading to his love while she sits attentively smile wide- The surf beats the shoreline while surfers race the tide.
