In the fog of the mind
all else is running
out of time
And you're lost.

All roads twist and turn
breath rasps, lungs burn
no hope of help
screaming and pleading
in the Silence.

Drag the heart thru mud
and all you ever could
have held slips thru fingers
covered in blood.

Now -
forget, in the fog of mind
time is gone, a crime is crime
Bleed your apologies
never knowing forgiveness.

You're lost.
