How do the clouds keep so calm? These keepers of silence, Who meander with nowhere to go and nothing to sense, Trapped with no ends to their beginnings.
Do they feel pain in leaving no printings Of their travels of wisdom of our balm? While we look to them, singing our psalm, Do they know we do as they drift by?
At times of sorrow, they cry Together, their rains lingering Of what anguish and lightnings May be kept inside
And what is the presence of this quiet pride? That which we do not eye On those summer days we eye the sky This calming of our souls in the clouds
