Refrain the moon from amply shining
Harvester of souls dutifully mining
When all the dead walk the roads
And the nightbird cries out his call -

Then stories old will be stories told
And summer rains will plummet cold
Mist will be the coat of the damned
While Eternity unfolds for all.

Humanity closes in, confining
Beast and Beauty together dining
Upon the riffraff and the toads
Who remain hidden behind the wall -

Wagging tongues, publicly scold
Standing tall and falsely bold
Speaking as if they were the Man
Fighting battles for one and all.

Yet, they remain those defining
This hatreds continual declining.
