She Plucked the Rose (rondeau)

She plucked the rose with petals white
That night she bathed in the moon
Silent within his arms so tight
She sighed him the nightingales swoon
Once locked within her heart of night

And he with eyes of stars alight
Beckoned her closer to twilight
Her spine shivered in his croon
She plucked the rose

She leaned in closer, bare and light
Of all within her mind affright
Fire burned within her monsoon
Loves joining lips never part soon
Slowly fell the petals of white
She plucked the rose

Soft, sensual, delightful!

Yet another gem of yours, playing your hand at a precise poetic form. You are rather skilled at doing so.

Loved it.
