a/n I found this poem burried deep in my poem file. It was written in February 24, 2006. I guess I feel indifferent about this one, but I hope you enjoy it anyways. :)
Idyll
Under the shade of the old oak tree I would sit by the stream to see the fishes swim Happy little fish, swimming to and fro going nowhere in particular I would lie on the bank of the stream and listen to the gentle trickle of the water gliding over the rocks
Under the shade of the old oak tree I would spot a red bird flying overhead perhaps on her way to gather food I would listen to her lovely tune as she flitted in the air flying from here to there
Under the shade of an old oak tree where I would spend many days I would ponder of life I would ponder of love and what dreams shall await me When I once again, drift off with the gentle rustle of the breeze
