Jilt

*My first attempt at an ABC poem, have no idea if it's good enough.*

All around, whispered voices of premonition
Behold the curse! For her gloomy heart knows no rest;
Cavernous mind yawns eternal, predisposed
Destruction with the slightest move, she retreats
Forsaking what could be for all that has ever been.

Poe, this is absolutely splendid. Very clever, and very enjoyable to read. :) Though, I didn't expect any less from you. :)
