A Salku is 5-5-5- syllables.....any subject anyhow...
5-5-5
See what I have here
Fifteen syllables
It's called a Salku!
or this...
Sparrow Sunrise
Fragmenting my dreams
Faint and distant notes
Daybreak symphony

Oh! The Sparrow Sunrise one is to be posted on a banner
Beautiful!
Let me try
All men need to learn
How to be contrite
And apologize.

Good one, Alexe....and I'm glad you like Sparrow Sunrise..it's one of my favourites. I must dig into my files and see what other Salku I can find.

Here's a few more...
Daffodil
Star shaped brilliance
Standing proud and tall
Reflecting sunlight
Blue
Filled with lazy clouds
Heaven sent glory
Cerulean sky
Mist
Shades of gentle gray
Over dew-damp grass
Clear with the sun's warmth
I wrote these about 50 years ago by the way.... :o)

Fevered, frantic nights
Soaring to new heights
Two Lovers in flight.
For you my friend, I
write dedications
In honor of you.
it's bedtime for me.
