I've decided to play around and try to get things moving. Every Sunday will be the start of a new "mood" or emotion, feeling. The object here is to be as creative or poetic as possible and describe, relate or bring to life the chosen mood. I am using liberal license here and will be chosing words that offer up a variety of ideas.

She held the tattered remains of his heart out like an offering. Her eyes pleaded for forgiveness, though her voice had left, with the dawn.
She never meant to tarnish the gold of his soul, so pure and prim with integrity, it had only been a fantasy, drifting along indigo tinged clouds, yet she found herself holding on tight to the kite tail and dragging her feet along the ground.
Then, as the day turned into storm-filled twilight, and rain wept for the angels above, she tried her best but her best was two shades to faint, and a day too late to prevent the catastrophic end.
She never meant any harm, but somehow her apology seemed flat against the carnage. And as he looked to her in askance,
