Epyllion

I.

You have rekindled my spirit
After waning away to mere nothingness
And have taken it into the softest place,
Your hands folded in mine;
I remember now, what it feels like
As we dance on this summer night

II.

On the sands of this beach, you are here with me-
In the wind, the waves; your breath
The sun and salty air; your smile and warming skin your aura
I gaze to the sky, the color of your eyes, and brush the space beside me
Nothing but a figment of my memories

III.

Two hearts laugh in the twilight
While smiles reflect the aura of euphoria
And further they disappear from the world
Into their own into themselves
This I imagine, happily humming to myself
An unsteady tune of despair
