*This is done in the form of a Lai Nouveau - a little f*cker of a poem that actually made me think, rethink and rewrite this a few times. Hopefully it's worth it!*
The Decay of Mankind:
Rat-tat-tapping sound
Darkness dripping round
Death dies
Reaper scratching ground
Fearsome and profound
God lies
Warring men confound
Desperation bound.
Falsely common ground
Bombshells all around
Man sighs
Whore born greedy hound
Vanity astound
Blood flies
Darkness dripping round
Rat-tat-tapping sound.
